Trick or Treat?

| | Comments (0)

I hope everyone had a happy halloween. Halloween is similar here as in the States with the kids dressed in costume going door to door for candy except for one thing - there are fireworks. Looking out from my window last night I could see fireworks going off in several neighborhoods. They're the smaller variety that people can purchase and set off themselves. It's quite strange to me, but I'm sure a tradition for people living here. I'm not sure if this is just in Vancouver or all of Canada, but for some reason I believe it happens only in Vancouver. Interesting, eh?

Some treats (or tricks?):

Connect2Elect - Supposedly this site helps voters elect the next presidential candidate by matching their values and beliefs to the candidate that is most similar to their stance on issues.

Songkick - Keep track of tour dates of your favorite musicians or use the plugin to track tour dates of all the artists in your music library (plugin available for mac soon.)

A List Apart - A site for people who make websites.

Me on the segway - Youtube video of me on segway at 1:27s at the Adobe Max conference. I was concentrating hard on not falling off.
