I'll Be Home For Christmas
Update! My Gallery is back up and running again. Sorry for the inconvenience if it caused any. This should be the last of the site disruptions. Quite annoying, I know, but I hope to make it up with more entries for all the time it's been down.
One thing I wanted to blog about during this whole ordeal was about a couple weeks ago they were filming a pilot in my building for a tv show called "Under." The premise for the show follows an undercover cop from Chicago. Of all places, I know! They spent a whole day filming a chase scene in my building's parkade and had posted signs the day before around the apartment letting people know that they would be firing fake gunshots. I had to work the entire day so I didn't see much... just a couple semi-trucks parked out front with all their equipment. The funny thing is the thought that the parkade would be a good location for a chase scene has crossed my mind more than a few times. But I guess most parkades do. If this pilot ever airs on tv and you see it, let me know if you see any chase scenes in a grungy-looking parking garage. That's the short cut I take to the bubble tea place across the street!
On another note, I'll be flying back to the Midwest on Friday, but will be spending Christmas in Green Bay until the 26th. If anyone in Chicago has time to get together after the 26th, let me know. I'll be there 'til the 30th. Wishing you all happy holidays!
