No More Chocolates For Me

First they said chocolates causes breakouts, then they said it doesn't and now apparently it does according to this new research. Perhaps that could explain the large zit that's appeared right between my eyes. I cannot have anymore chocolate or sweets for that matter. This is such sad news for me. Of course, I write this while eating the holiday chocolates I received as gifts. I think that zit may be getting bigger because of it.

In other interesting news, there is a trend among Japanese parents now to send their little tykes to Indian schools in Japan. Apparently, the Japanese feel that their children will receive better education there compared to a Japanese school.

2-year-olds are taught to count to 20, 3-year-olds learn to use the computer and 5-year-olds write one-page English essays at Indian schools, whereas kids in Japanese schools don't begin to do any of these tasks until second grade. Wowie! I don't remember ever doing any of these in second grade, maybe the counting, but definitely not the rest. All I remember in second grade is starting to learn cursive and writing with pen. These kids will be able to attend college after eighth grade at the rate they're learning.

I better start studying now to keep up with these kids once they join the workforce. No better way to do that than playing FreeRice, a game that donates 20 grains of rice for every word you get right to the United Nations World Food Program.

I suspected the chocolate-acne connection for years, as well as many other foods being culprits. Have you heard about the report that the flu virus spreads due to the cold, not from people being indoors? http://www.nytimes.com/2007/12/05/health/research/05flu.html

Yep, I did come across that report. Makes sense... otherwise there would be just as many people catching the flu in the summer months as in the winter. Another reason to move to a warmer climate!

I got the same problem. I have a big old zit on the middle of my forehead. Perfectly developed just when I have go back to work. I still eating the holiday chocolate though. Nothing comes between me and my chocolate. This would explain a few other small zits on my cheeks too.
