Ouch
Yesterday, I went again for a second time at snowboarding to practice what I've learned so far. As a result I'm sitting on a pillow on a very sore butt. The rest of my body is very sore as well, but not as sore as last time. I think I'm going to have to give myself a break from snowboarding for a while to completely recover before I seriously injure myself. I'm a bit bummed because I'm really looking forward to snowboarding, but I realize that my body can't keep up with my excitement to learn the sport.
My enthusiasm for my new found winter hobby is seeping into all my thoughts. While my mom was telling me about the large accumulation of snow in Green Bay and the piles of snow drifts on their driveway, I could picture myself snowboarding down my parent's driveway and riding down the hill they live on. It would be sweet.
The other obsession I seem to have is World Market. Sounds loony doesn't it? I love the store and unfortunately there aren't any here in Vancouver or anywhere in Canada. I was so dismayed that I even emailed them hoping they'd hear my suggestion to open a store here after an employee suggested the idea. And this is the response I got.
Last night I dreamt that I set up my own World-Market-like store but in an abandoned barn that had a nice rustic and charming atmosphere. I remember I described it as an Asian style World Market to a customer. Something like a cross between a T&T or Mistsuwas and World Market but focusing only on Asian inspired furniture and decorations.
Maybe that's my subconscious telling me to replace my obsession over snowboarding with something more safe like World Market. Nonetheless, I found it to be a funny dream.

Thank you for your e-mail.Well, it wasn't the response I was hoping for, but it also seems so scripted that they don't value the suggestion at all. It would have been nice if the customer care representative wrote that they appreciated the enthusiasm for World Market and value my suggestion and therefore would forward it to somebody who makes those decisions for their consideration.
