Covered in Green
On the way to Tofino, there is a rest area near Port Alberni on either side of the main road. Travelers can stop to stretch their legs and admire the tall trees in Cathedral Grove. Trails take people inside the grove where magnificent Douglas Firs stand. Almost everything in the grove is covered in moss.

Chased by a seagull
The eagle may be the bigger bird, but the seagull is not afraid to show who’s boss. Wherever the eagle soared, the seagull was close behind squawking at him as if he was in his territory.
Sea Lions in the Rain
The waves were rough. We were getting thrashed about on the small boat and I was trying hard not to get sick, but had to capture the moment these sea lions were having on the rocks. Although it would be considered an absolutely yucky day in terms of the rain, these guys seemed to be enjoying every single drop.
